CANVAS ARTIST SERIES CONTEST
The Winners are Announced!
Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and Canvas Wines, inspired by a love for fine art, wish to inspire others to share their passion of art and wine with the Canvas Artist Series.
Hyatt welcomed art students in the 50 United States and D.C. to submit their artistic interpretation of the varietal characteristics of Canvas Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Merlot. After a careful selection process, which included public voting, the winners have been announced. One winner for each varietal wine will receive a $5,000 scholarship and have their artwork featured as a label on a special bottling of Canvas Wines.

SELECTION OF FINALISTS AND GRAND PRIZE WINNERS
Three finalists will be chosen for each varietal wine and featured on the Canvas Wines website for visitors to view and vote for! Three grand prize winners will be chosen, one for each varietal artwork, based on a combination of the public voting and other criteria.
a. On-line popular vote (20%)
b. Originality of Finalist's Artwork creative interpretation of the Varietal Characteristic of one (1) of the Canvas Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay or Merlot (50%)
c. Originality and appeal of his or her written description of his or her Artwork inspiration and career aspirations of why Finalist would like to be an artist as described in the Essays (30%).
Each of the three grand prize winners will win a $5,000 scholarship from Hyatt and have their artwork featured on a special bottling of Canvas Wines, featured exclusively at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean.
